¨As a designer I am constantly drawing inspiration from my travels, cultural discoveries, historical research and observations of today´s world. In this case my inspiration comes from the Indian culture as a result of my 12 years living in Calcutta. The whole collection is a reflection of my passion for the Indian culture, its people and crafts. Ethnic Fashion is a stylistic exploration that leads us to distant lands, to discover new horizons.¨

Madame Sibarita

We want to spark your imagination with our designs, with explorations into myth, legend and surreal fantasy as the main source of inspiration for Madame Sibarita. Our logo´s character, a Maenad or Bacchant has come to be associated with a wide variety of women, supernatural, mythological and historical, associated with the god Dionysus. For us, it represents women empowerment. Madame Sibarita arrived in Calcutta in 2008 as a volunteer for an NGO that was helping destitute girls and she fell in love with India where she decided to stay and live. To keep ourselves committed to the cause we contribute to the "Arham Help" programme of the Parasdham Foundation, which provides jobs for many women in India.

Our artworks are original and unique, all drawn by hand and inspired by the adventures of Madame Sibarita in the wild.
We want to share the beauty and wonder of the natural world. We contribute to sustaining and improving our environment, giving back to mother earth all the love she gives us so we developed our sustainable reusable packaging with the women working in the "Arham Help" programme at the Parasdham Foundation, who voluntarily dedicate themselves to helping people and providing assistance to animals, among many other humanitarian actions.
